Specialized backpack for german signals personnel in WW2, (Fernsprechtornister). Similar to the M39 with horse coat, was slightly larger and reinforced with a wooden frame. There existed three different models and so numbered. Inside were placed tools and other equipment as needed. On the back the manufacturer's code "hjg" corresponding to "Kimnach & Brunn,  fabrik für Heeresaus-rustung" from Kaiserslautern in the German region of Rhineland-Palatinate, the waffenamt WaA841, the year of manufacture 1942. On the transport leather straps the trademark of their manufacturer: "A.Kind" from Hunsting and the year 1940. Rare and in excellent condition.
