Cordon for marksman of the German Army (Heer) 1st pattern (Schutzen Abzeichen des deutschen Heeres). Instituited with ordinance of June 29, 1936 was intended for all soldiers and nco except for officers. It was fixed, at the top, with a button placed under the right epaulet, below to the second button, from the top, of the tunic. Were provided for 12 increasing levels of acknowledgement, this was for the 1st level.
