Typical bakelite and metal compass, used by the German army in World War II. Marked with the three letters "clk", related to the special code list instituited in 1940, was produced by the company: "Breithaupt & Sohn, F.W." factory of geodetic instruments (fabrik geodatischer instrumente) of Kassel, Adolfstr. 13. On the lid shows the letter "A"in white. Also marked on the back, is still working.
