Field jacket M1944 "Ike" belonged to a First Class Sergeant  of the U.S. 3rd Army. The 3rd Army was formed in Normandy in 1944 and was placed under the command of General Patton taking part, later, at the Battle of the Buldge. The jacket is marked on the inner lining and has the label of the size: 32R. Inside in the right pocket there is the Quartermaster label. The blue cord connotes the graduate as a rifleman. Good condition.
