German officer's compass complete with original and rare leather safety strap. As indicated by marks, was produced in the Brandenburg town of Rathenow by the "Busch" company, famous also for the production of optical instruments in particular of binoculars. The abbreviation D.R.G.M. (Deutsches Reich Gebrauchsmuster - Registered Trade Mark ) confirms the use in wartime. The instrument is working and in excellent condition, except for the glass crack probably finding of the events mentioned.
