Binoculars (doppelfernrohr) 6x30 magnifying with ordnance tan finish. The color may suggest for use in African war theatre or, at least, in the Southeuropean one. Actually it is a factory finish introduced by the end of 1944. On the right side there are these inscriptions: Dienstglass (service binoculars), 6x30 (magnifying), 310704 (matriculation number), ddx (the code corresponding to the manufacturer: "Voigtlander & Sohn A.-G. from Braunschweig in Lower Saxony) the triangle blue (indicating that the binoculars has been treated for use with temperatures from -40° C to +50° C). In addition to the leather baldric the binoculars are equipped with protective lid for lenses in rubber. The reticle is present in the right lens. Light traces due the use for an object coveted and, now, no more easy to find.
