---SOLD ---

Visor cap pattern 1909 in moleskin  for a NCO of the 73° Italian Infantry Regt. This type of hat, for its quality and type of fabric, usually was destined to the officers. With this type of embroidered badge, typically for NCO, this cap most likely belonged to a Senior NCO of high rank. The 73° Infantry Regiment "Lombardy" was engaged for all the duration of WW1, always distinguishing himself. He participated in the glorious days of the battles on the river Piave in 1918.  The item is in excellent condition, except for some light motheaten on the top part that did not, however, alter the appearance.
