Brass badge for pit helmet worn by the Centuries of Italian workers in Italian East Africa (A.O.I.). This, in particular, belonged to a member of the "V Century" as indicated by the roman number on the removable round plate. The workers centuries operating in A.O.I. were in total 6 and they were repatriated in 1938. The badge is in good condition and complete with the double rear fins for the fixing.
