The red (waffenfarbe) piping connotes it as an headgear used by German anti-aircraft artillery (Flak Artillerie)) in World War II. This headgear is in good conditions, except a slight moth of the red piping. Marked inside “Stirdruckfrei” that means “light type” and Deutsches Reich Patent (D.R.P.) “German patent”. This last indication was used until 1945.
