Aluminium badge for non-commissioned officers and ranks, second pattern, for DICAT. This speciality of the M.V.S.N. was created on April 16, 1927 under the name of anti-aircraft artillery Militia; from 1930 called Militia for territorial air defence (M.Di.C.A.T.). It was composed of 22 Legions who divided the territory of the State according to the importance of cities and military targets to defend against enemy air strikes offense. The number on the badge indicates the membership to the 11th Legion stationed at Trieste (3° Group Legions-Bologna). This badge is to be considered rare.
