Rare transitional helmet pattern 1931-1933. Made of steel has inside the classic 1933 lining but, on the apical part of the shell, has the typical crest of 1931 pattern. The colour is the typical light green of the first type used about until 1936. The rivets are of the second type with slight step at the base. The leather of the lining, light shade, is made with goat skin. Chinstrap in green-gray  leather. Strange thing is the presence, on the right side, of the number "2" engraved on the flap. This type of helmet, used too in the final parts of the war by the bad and few equipped Italian troops , was destined to the troops involved in the antiaircraft defense of the industrial installations engaged in war production. This helmet was discovered in Tuscany in the areas of the plain of the river Arno between Empoli and Pisa. Everything points that had been used for the defense of the Piaggio factories in that area. The helmet was not clean and  left in its original condition. Helmet extremely rare intended for collector evolved. Books references: "The Italian helmet 1915-1971". Bossi-Nogueira.
